Motherland School And College founded by a social worker named
Md.Abdul Baset.
It is one of the best schools in the district of Dhaka. The
school is situated at a suitable place. The school has two branch. The main
branch stands at Ulon road in West Rampura.The Vatara branch stands at
Sayednagar R/A in Vatara. Boys and girls of the neighboring area can come to
the school easily. Boys and girls also come from other side of the areas. The
main branch is housed in a nice five storied building, It has fifteen rooms.
The rooms are spacious with a wide verandah and well ventilated. The Headmaster
has a separate room to sit in. There is an office room adjacent to the Headmaster's
room. One clerk sits there and maintains the records of the school. There are
also Teacher's Common Room where the other teachers take their seat. There are
also sciences Laboratories, library and computer rooms. Students play indoor
games and read the newspapers, magazines and other papers. The library room is
very spacious. There is a rich collection of books in the library. Students read
there. They are issued books. Coordinator supervises the students. Generally
school starts at 7:30 am and breaks up at 2:30 pm.The school has two shifts.
Morning Shift is for girls and Day Shift is for boys. Morning Shift starts at
7:45 am and Day Shift starts at 11:15 am.The school starts oath, sing the
National Anthem. Then our class sits at 1l am. Students get a recess of half an
hour, take their tiffin. At this time the Muslim students say their Zohar prayers.
There are 300 students and well trained teachers in school. The Headmaster is a
M.A.B. Ed with 1st class. He is an experienced teacher. The other teachers are
also well qualified. They are kind, sympathetic to students. They solve their
problem.The school has a big corridor. The school has a good reputation for
results. The results of the J.S.C and S.S.C Examination are quite satisfactory.
Every year, many students get GPA-5 in the J.S.C and S.S.C Examination.
